For over 90 years, the Historic Canton Theatre has been a shining star for entertainment. As early as 1911, the theatre was first used to show slides and silent movies in downtown Canton. Later, in the early 1920’s, the theatre changed owners and was renamed the “Bonita”, which held movie showings on Fridays and Saturdays. For a complete listing of shows please visit Canton Theatre . "Historic Downtown Canton Farmers’ Market"
It's that time of year again to start thinking about farmer's markets. Last year Canton's farmer's market was a HUGE success. We are right in the heart of Historic Downtown Canton in Cannon Park at the gazebo. We would like to invite you all back for another great year. This years market will begin Saturday, June 5th and go through September 25th. If you have not participated in the Canton farmer's market, please consider joining us . We would love to welcome you! We are a Georgia grown market. We do not charge vendor fees and will have more music this year. We will have some cooking demonstrations and fun scavenger hunts and entertainment for the kids. The City of Canton Council Meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 18, 2010 has been cancelled and rescheduled for Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 6:00 PM. at the Canton City Hall.
